Private Secret Falls Hike

Hike to Nantahala Rainforest’s Breathtaking Waterfalls.

This Private Secret Falls Hike is 2 hours long. We start in Highlands, NC with an open air tour to Secret Falls (AKA Big Shoals), and on the way learn about the Nantahala National Forest. We take  scenic historic dirt roads of the original Trail of Tears.

This is a relaxed three mile round trip hike (with some steep sections) to see Secret Falls, a 40 feet breathtaking waterfall in the Temperate Rain Forest.

In winter, we stop along the way and brew coffee or hot chocolate over a wood fire. Our open-air adventure vehicles will whisk you through the temperate rainforest back to Highlands, NC. Join the Private Secret Falls Hike for a true adventure!
